Augusztus másodikán tartottuk, stúdiónk két fontos projektjének bemutatóját. Burány Vera projektjének első fejezetét láthatták az érdeklődők, mely a MNTS MSKNT nevet kapta. A kiállítás előtt került sor a több mint egy éve készülő fotoszintetizáló ruhadarab bemutatására. Az egész egy Berlinből érkezett biopamut textil és egy londoni kutatólabor találkozásával indult, ahol az anyag lényegében élővé vált. Csapatunk szeret új embereket megismerni, tapasztalatokat gyűjteni, különböző, számunkra addig ismeretlen anyagok és innovációk után kutatva,ezért számos külföldi textilvásáron vettünk már részt. Így ismerkedtünk meg a Lebenskleidung és Post Carbon Lab csapatával. Dian-Jen Lin kutatóval az előbb említett londoni Post Carbon Lab csapatából közösen dolgozott Anna az elmúlt évben a ruhadarab előkészítésén. Mostanra két szabályunk van, amit be kell tartanunk a ruhával kapcsolatban: tilos a vasalás és úgy kell bánni vele, mint egy levegőnövénnyel.
Nagy Emese táncművész helyspecifikus, improvizatív performansz keretében viselte a kiállítás megnyitóján. A különleges zenei játékért Macskin Dávid trombitaművész felelt. Emese improvizációja után, az érdeklődők megtekinthették Vera projektjének különleges darabjait. A kiállítás egyik fő célja, hogy kiemelje az érzelmi kötődés fontosságát a ruháinkhoz. Az öltözéktervezők gondolkodásvilágát megszokottan a kollekciók által ismerik meg az érdeklődők, ám ebben az új típusú alkotói formában, ahol nincsenek meghatározott sémák, a konceptuális öltözékek mutatják be legjobban a tervezői attitűdöt. Vera terveiben gyűjtött régi textíliák és organikus anyagok egyesítésével alkot új darabokat, amelyekhez a történetmesélés eszközét is felhasználja.
Ez a nap a Pinkponilo jelenéhez és jövőjéhez szorosan kapcsolódik. 2021-ben az egyik kiemelt stratégiai elemünk a tudásbázisú stúdióvá fejlődés, melynek fontos háttere a textilipar ismerete, a textiles iparművészeti irányvonalak tanulmányozása és a közönség számára ezek interpretálása. A mintákból, maradék anyagokból álló textilgyűjtemény építése folyamatos kutatómunka, szeretnénk nem csak a fenntarthatóság elvén készült textilekre, de az innovációs és experimentális textilekre is fókuszálni.

Wetness, sunlight, moving: Niche Night / 2021.08.02.
We held the premieres of two important projects of ours on the 2nd of August. The visitors could see the first chapter of Vera Burány's project called MNTS MSKNT. Before the exhibition we presented a photosynthesizer piece of clothing which has been prepared for more than a year. It started with the encounter of a bio cotton textile from Berlin and a London-based laboratory, where the material basically came alive.
Our team likes to get to know new people and gain experience while searching for different, unknown materials and innovations for us, so we have participated in many international textile markets.That's how we got to know the teams of Lebenskleidung and Post Carbon Lab. Anna has been working with Dian-Jen Lin scientist from the team of Post Carbon Lab during the past year, in the making of this material. For now, we have two rules that we have to keep regarding the clothing: ironing is forbidden, and we have to treat it like an air plant.
Emese Nagy dancer was wearing it during a site-specific, improvisational performance in the opening of the exhibition, for which Dávid Macskin trumpet player provided the special music. Following Emese's improvisation, the visitors could view the special pieces of Vera's project. The main aim of the exhibition is to highlight the importance of our emotional bond to our clothes. The spectators can get to know the minds of the designers by their collections, however in this new-type creator form, where there are no specified schemes, the conceptual clothings can show the designer’s attitude at its best. Vera creates new pieces by the combination of old textiles and organic materials collected by her, for which she also uses the devices of storytelling.
This day closely connects to the Pinkponilo's present and future. The strategic element of our studio in 2021 is to develop into a knowledge-based studio. Getting to know the textile industry, examining the trends of applied arts and interpreting them to the audience is an important background for this. The expansion of the textile collection out of samples and leftover materials is a constant research, since we would like to focus on not only sustainable textiles, but also innovation and experimental ones.
